My Valentine

I have to do a little bragging about my hubby for Valentines Day! Everyone thinks that I don't care about the holiday, but here is someone I feel very strongly about :) I have to first say that you will never meet anyone as spoiled rotten as I am. This guy does the dishes, vacumns, folds the laundry, gets up with the boys , makes a big breakfast every weekend( I have never made breakfast since we've been married)Can fix anything, and does so for everyone. He always makes me feel like the Queen of the world. I get foot rubs and the best massages all the time. No one can make me laugh harder than he can. And still after 71/2 years of marriage I still can't wait till the end of the day when he comes home. He puts up with a lot of complaining from his pregnant wife and never says a word. He is an awesome father and an amazing husband and marrying him was the best decision I have ever made!!!!

Parker got to take a bath by himself - since Tairen slept at Grandma Lisa's again (Grandma Ruth is probably jealous on some level). He even let me wash his hair without a four minute whine festival!

As you can see, he really needs a hair cut (or a scrunchie to go with his pony tail). Or we can let it keep growing until we can give him a sweet scalp to neckline mohawk!

New Beds

We finally decided to buy the boys bunk beds after a couple of long months of Parker not sleeping anywhere. They love it and have been sleeping great...so far!
We also got them each new sheets. Tai chose Ninja Turtles and it was terribly painful waiting for them to wash and dry!! He was sooo excited!
I just loved this picture, so I had to add it. I LOVE my little Cheesers!!!

Tairen's Mind

The other day as I was driving the boys home (Kristi had a girls night out) that new John Mayer song was on the radio. I shut off the car and Tairen says "Dad, why is he talking to a sandwich?"

Completely lost I asked him what he was talking about. "Dad, the guy on the radio was talking to a sandwich - he said 'sandwich you need to saaaayyy, sandwich you need to saaaayyy'"!!!

I'll try and keep track of them, but he has a ton. This morning when he was waiting for me to fill the tub, he sat on his stool and it managed to slide out from under him - imagine his face as he gradually slides away from the wall, upside down, and ends up with his legs over his head. I couldn't stop laughing even though he hit his head on the tile after it slid down the wall. It's a good thing the good times outshine the tough ones.

Busy Bodies

This past week Tai has mastered the Headstand and now has moved on to couches, cushions and STAIRS!!!! (no it doesn't bother me : ) He just started doing it all the time and had to soon show me that he has no limits. Remind you of anyone in the family??? If this isn't a mini Lance I don't know who is. ; )


And Parker lining up his cars. I pick up over 50-60 cars in this blue bin several times everyday and he just keeps dumping them out.
What can I say our boys keep us busy!

Parker's 2nd Birthday!

So apparently I am a huge slacker when it comes to this blog business. But enough of you have harassed me so here are some pictures from Parker's Birthday a couple weeks ago.
It was short and sweet, cause that's how Parks likes it : ) He did an excellent job of blowing out the candles... about 3 different times. : )

He loves all cars ( has to bring 3 or 4 out the door every time we go somewhere) and Cars the movie so this is what I came up with. Its my favorite cake I have done so far. I thought it turned out really cute! Tai helped me a ton. He crushed all the cookies and made the Checker Flags all by himself. He is such a good brother!


I made this blanket for him and he loves it so much he takes it almost everywhere. He had to examine it and lay on it for awhile before he did anything else. He was ready to take it and go right to bed : ) That's our party animal Parker!!!!

My cute little Nerds

I found my old reading glasses from High School and the boys put them on. Don't they look so smart? : ) Tai thought it was pretty funny that I used to wear them. I know I looked like a nerd, that's why I don't wear them anymore! : ) Even though I need them!
