Parker's 2nd Birthday!

So apparently I am a huge slacker when it comes to this blog business. But enough of you have harassed me so here are some pictures from Parker's Birthday a couple weeks ago.
It was short and sweet, cause that's how Parks likes it : ) He did an excellent job of blowing out the candles... about 3 different times. : )

He loves all cars ( has to bring 3 or 4 out the door every time we go somewhere) and Cars the movie so this is what I came up with. Its my favorite cake I have done so far. I thought it turned out really cute! Tai helped me a ton. He crushed all the cookies and made the Checker Flags all by himself. He is such a good brother!


I made this blanket for him and he loves it so much he takes it almost everywhere. He had to examine it and lay on it for awhile before he did anything else. He was ready to take it and go right to bed : ) That's our party animal Parker!!!!

My cute little Nerds

I found my old reading glasses from High School and the boys put them on. Don't they look so smart? : ) Tai thought it was pretty funny that I used to wear them. I know I looked like a nerd, that's why I don't wear them anymore! : ) Even though I need them!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Here are pictures from our Halloween. Our creative 5 year old told us about 6 months ago that he wanted to be broccoli for Halloween. So my talented mother made him this costume. It was a little top heavy so he didn't wear it for very long. Parker wanted nothing to do with it. OH well...maybe next year! And LANCE my crazy nut husband decided to be a white trash guy. Needless to say he did it well and I wouldn't let him come near me all night!!! : )

Pictures from Hunting

While the dreaded hunt has not proven successful yet, I did get a couple of cool pictures that most of you will never get to see - because none of you are dedicated (exchange with dumb or another synonym of stupid) enough to hike as far as I do.

Our Trip to Imperial Beach

There were dolphins in the water next to the people who were surfing. Laura was scared because she thought they were sharks. I wasn't scared because I know they won't get me.

Me and my dad were building a sand castle and it broke. And I fixed it and then it broke again. We put lots of stuff on top of the sand castle, like turtles and airplanes and cars.

Our family had a fun time at the beach. When we were done, we went swimming at Justin and Andrea's. I like to play with my cousins.

The Hunt :(

Yes, that's a frowny face. Kristi doesn't want me off hunting, but for some reason it fills an age-old, time-tested need to do something manly (other than use Excel all day). So, me and my good buddy Mike decided to work our tails off this year - even before the hunt starts. So here is our pride and joy - the water hole we dug, and the trail leading down to it that never existed two weeks previous. Hopefully it will all pay off, and not just be wasted effort.
